June 9th has been designated as the first International Accreditation Day by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).

International Accreditation Forum (IAF) : Is an association of Conformity Assessment Accreditation Bodies and other bodies interested in conformity assessment which exists primarily to facilitate world trade by working to remove technical barriers that may flow from demands for certification and/or registration of management systems,

The Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (PAC): Pacific Accreditation Cooperation is an association of accreditation bodies and other interested parties whose objective is to facilitate trade and commerce among economies in the Asia Pacific region. PAC operates within the framework of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF].

International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC): is an international cooperation of laboratory and inspection accreditation bodies formed more than 30 years ago to help remove technical barriers to trade.

National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB): The National Accreditation Board for
Certification Bodies (NABCB) undertakes assessment of Certification Bodies applying for accreditation as per the Boards criteria in line with international standards and guidelines.

National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) The National Accreditation
Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) undertakes the assessment and accreditation of Testing and Calibration Laboratories, in accordance with the international standard ISO / IEC 17025 and ISO 15189.
