Why Chairman's Office

The Chairman’s Office constitutes a bunch of young and smart individuals from various backgrounds who have come together to make an impact in a huge way. As a member of the Chairman’s office, you can shape your own experience and work towards your passion. These testimonials come straight from the people whose lives, both professional and personal, have been enriched by working at the Chairman’s office.

Anubhav Mangal – “The responsibilities gave me an incredibly well rounded & holistic experience and helped me grow immensely as a professional”

Coming from an established company with well-defined roles and expectations, I experienced a massive change while working at the Chairman's office. As the set-up of the Chairman's office is similar to that of a start-up, I have worked less like a project manager and more like a start-up founder. From developing business with a new a client to hiring & staffing team on projects, I got the exposure of it all. These responsibilities gave me an incredibly well rounded & holistic experience and helped me grow immensely as a professional.
Anubhav is a graduate from IIT Bombay and has worked for more than a year at McKinsey & Company

Bhavna Nahata –“I actively participate in the improvement of public services of our country and have a direct impact on it”

I joined the Chairman's office primarily to create an impact. QCI offered me the opportunity to work on projects where we recommend systematic reforms to reduce public grievances, thereby impacting quality of citizens’ lives in India. As a team member of the Chairman’s Office at QCI, I actively participate in the improvement of public services of our country and have a direct impact on it. The flat structure has given me the opportunity to be creative and yet solve the issues at large.
Bhavna is a graduate from S.R.C.C., MBA from IIM Kozhikode and has worked for a year at Goldman Sachs

Abhinav Yadav – “QCI experience has helped me understand how government forms policies and implements them on ground”

I was the third member to join the Chairman’s Office in September of 2015. As a project manager, I have worked across variety of projects - both strategy and implementation. From learning how various ministries function to the execution of Swachh Survekshan, QCI has helped me grow both personally and professionally. QCI experience has helped me understand how government forms policies and implements them on ground. The impact that my work has created has given me a lot of satisfaction. I feel QCI has provided me the wings to become a leader in the future and serve my country in a better manner.
Abhinav is a graduate from BITS Pilani and has worked for two years at Premji Invest

Shatakshi Sharma –“I directly interacted with various senior bureaucrats in the administration and improved public services by filling gaps both in policy and implementation”

The Chairman’s office is an ideal platform to reach out to leaders across the government. While working at the Chairman’s office in QCI, I directly interacted with various senior bureaucrats in the administration and improved public services by filling gaps both in policy and implementation. Working on public services made me understand how both politics and administration work hand in hand to deliver quality services to the people of our country.
Shatakshi is a graduate from St. Stephens College and has worked in Groupon India and Takshashila Consulting

Rudraneel Chattopadhyay – “The Chairman’s office has a unique team because of the diverse background everyone comes from”

The Chairman’s office has a unique team not just because of its flat structure but because of the diverse background everyone comes from. There is a free exchange of learning. Everyone is open to feedback and I’ve felt that the conversations here are crisp and concise. There is a sense of camaraderie, which I’ve felt is special.
Rudraneel is a graduate from ILS Law College, fellow from Ashoka University and has worked as Secretary General-Pune Model United Nations

Vinay Sridhar –“The fact that I could drive and actively work towards shaping the services of our country was overwhelming for me”

I joined the Chairman’s Office in June of 2015. If I had to relate any one incident on how this place shaped my affinity towards being a part of impacting the governance of this country, it would be of my involvement with the DARPG project wherein we recommended systematic reforms to improve quality of public services. I was a part of this project last year, and the data we compiled and analyzed was used to a great degree by Joint Secretaries from various ministries. This was overwhelming to me, just the fact that I could drive and actively work towards shaping our Country. That’s when I knew that this is what I wanted to do, and the Chairman’s office helped me realize that.
Vinay is a graduate from IIT Madras and has worked at McKinsey & Company for two years

Mehul Das – “QCI has been all about how things move from the policy and implementation standpoint”

I joined QCI to get a bigger picture of how things work in the Government. QCI has been all about how things move both from policy and implementation standpoint. The idea has been to understand the working and make an impact on a bigger audience

Ronak Maheshwari- “The holistic experience has helped shape my liking towards public policy by working in cross functional roles, something I’m actively pursuing now”

Working in the Chairman’s Office, I’ve received exposure of working in the Government Sector and have also improved my interpersonal skills. The Chairman’s Office not only helped me understand working in the Government (particularly Operations) but also helped me interact with people from different sectors and companies (McKinsey & Company/KPMG Consultants, Managers from World Bank, BMGF, and Bureaucrats etc). The Chairman’s Office also gave me opportunities to work on analytics, marketing and consulting. This holistic experience has helped shape my liking towards public policy by working in cross functional roles, something I’m actively pursuing now.
