The 1st Regional Quality Conclave was held at BHU, Varanasi. The theme of the quality conclave was Ayushman Bharat.

About ‘Ayushman Bharat’:

Strengthen PHCs & Health Wellness centers

Day 1: Round Table Discussion:
•Gathering insights into the scheme of Ayushman Bharat from the experts & speakers.
•Addressing the media and its queries regarding the scheme.
Day 2: Lighting of the lamp: Commencement of sessions

•Presentation by the speakers on healthcare related subjects.•Release of the souvenir by Hon’ble minister of state, UP, Mr. Neelkanth Tiwari

•Key note by Dr. Rajneesh Dubey, IAS, Principal Sec, Medical Education, UP.
Day 3: Session on “Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance” chaired by Prof. GN Singh, Secretary, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, MoHFW

Speakers Inputs:

•Ayushman Bharat can be scaled up to “prevent any medical misuse” said Mr. Vimal Vakhlu Former Chairman & Managing Director of Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd.

•Dr. Krishan Kumar Aggarwal, Imm. Past President, Indian Medical Association urged that there should one Yoga Department in every hospital of India. There is no fight between Yoga and Medicine.

•The speakers presented their valuable suggestions on the 3rd-day session on “Patient Safety and Pharmacovigilance” Pharmaceutical industry vis-à-vis the present drug requirements and focus on prevention of fatal diseases rather than its cure.
