Skill Building Initiatives for Primary Care Physicians in Chronic Conditions
Case Studies » (May 27, 2020) ![]() India is experiencing a rapid health transition with a rising burden of Chronic /Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs). In 21st century, where India is making marked economic progress, it is confronting an ever increasing burden of NCDs while still continuing to fight against communicable diseases. This rising burden of NCD without a proportional increase in the number of physicians equipped to tackle the situation is worrisome. In response, comprehensive integrated capacity building courses / initiatives were conceptualized for primary care physicians (PCPs) by PHFI.
