Quality Council of India (QCI) and Federation of Small and Medium Industries, West Bengal (FOSMI) jointly organised a Regional Quality Conclave on the theme “Quality & Manufacturing Excellence For Sustainable Growth” on the 29th November 2019 at The Park, Kolkata commencing at 10.00 a.m.

• The objective of the conclave was to highlight the importance of best practices of quality & manufacturing in industries as critical change agents for sustainable growth. Quality & Manufacturing being two cardinal areas in a manufacturing industry developing a culture of continuous improvements in both these functions are fundamental to increased customer satisfaction and potential business growth. Organisations embracing a culture of quality, by building on TQM through committed employees, by establishing excellence in manufacturing activities with improvements in products, process or services can grow and get a competitive edge over others.

• The Conclave aimed to showcase implementation of innovative technologies and TQM/ QMS through the knowledge & vision of the experts to enable you to understand the challenges & expectations of the organisations in achieving a sustainable growth.

• There was a congregation of experts from the Industry Associations & Academia along with Practicing Industry Consultants who took part in the discussions and shared their experiences & opinion in an attempt to make the conclave more meaningful.

• The Conclave received 200 + participants with varied work portfolio from different segments of industries within West Bengal.
